I am Nipun Kavinda, a Mechanical Automation & Maintenance Engineer now specialising in Industrial AI and intelligent automation. My engineering foundation gives me something most software developers do not have — a deep understanding of real-world physical systems, machinery, and control logic.
Currently pursuing my MSc in AI in Dubai, UAE, I work at the intersection of Control Systems, Machine Learning, and IoT — turning raw sensor data and industrial processes into smart, data-driven solutions. From PID controllers to LLM-powered automation pipelines. I am passionate about bridging the gap between the physical and digital world, and applying AI to solve real engineering problems.
My goal is to become an Industrial AI Engineer — helping manufacturers, energy companies, and engineering firms in the UAE modernise their operations through intelligent systems, predictive analytics, and workflow automation.
